Did you know that if your child is 5 minutes late to school every day, they'll miss 7 weeks of their school career?
Here are some tips for getting to school on time:
▪️ Set up a ROUTINE, post it, and stick to it.
▪️ Do what you can the night before.
▪️ Get enough sleep.
▪️ Make a family commitment to be on time.
▪️ Give your child responsibilities.
▪️ Be ready early in case something comes up (because it often does).
▪️ Have a no distraction policy.
▪️ Plan ahead the week(s) before.
▪️ Wake up earlier.

▪️ Know what you can get done, and don't do more.

Becoming a National Merit Scholar starts with taking the PSAT/NMSQT (PreliminarySAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test) which is a standardized test to introduce the SAT. The scores from this test are used to determine eligibility and qualification for the National Merit Scholarship Program. A student must place in the top 1% of the state on this test to be a semifinalist for the National Merit Scholar.
Only JUNIOR year scores will count towards the National Merit Scholarship Program, but you can take it as a sophomore for practice. The PSAT/NMSQT is optional and open to juniors and sophomores.
